"I am Information Systems graduate student at the University of Utah. As a part of my course, I was supposed to complete a Capstone Project in Big Data and Hadoop. I knew nothing about Big Data and Hadoop at that time. My college professor told me about the Dezyre course. I checked the syllabus of "Certificate in Big Data and Hadoop" course, it was strong, industry-oriented and project-based.
I immediately enrolled for the next Dezyre batch and learning began :). The faculty was very knowledgeable and polite. We had around 17 sessions as part of this training course and I must say all of them were interesting and brain-storming. Faculty ensured throughout the course that all students understand the concepts. I also got to work on many different assignments in MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Sqoop and Flume. In addition to this, I got to work on 3 different projects as part of this course.
This course turned out to be a great deal for me. In the final session of this certification, our faculty taught us next advance concepts like YARN and Spark. So, after completing this course I enrolled for the new course which was "Apache Spark".
Both the certifications helped me a lot in understanding the big data and Hadoop concepts. Few months after this, for a new academic project, I wanted to learn Python. Again, what better source than Dezyre :) I enrolled in my 3rd Dezyre course which was "Data Science using Python".
I was also enrolled in Hacker Day projects which gave me a better understanding of many different Big Data and Data Science concepts. These Hacker Day projects is a really good for all professionals.
All the courses turned out to be good for me. I would surely recommend Dezyre to all the learners out there.
Thanks to the Dezyre team for their tremendous support throughout my 3 courses :)"
